The fitness industry is built for measurements, reps, scales, and guilt.  Even in programs designed for women, you still find the mainstream fitness “grind.” If this approach has never resonated with you, or worse, maybe you have been down that path and ended up feeling as though you failed somehow, detached from your body and burdened by goals you aren't invested in.

This is whole life health for women that honors who we are.  It looks and feels different because it is different. I honor you, your path, your strengths, and your desires.  This is not about fitting into anything.

This is about feeling good in WHO YOU ARE, because it is perfect, and you are NOT broken.

“Getting in shape” should be simply perfecting  YOUR shape, your perfect form, beauty, and flow.  Your body wants to flow and move and be fluid in its own way and rarely fits into a concrete system of generalized expectations.

 

The ME Practice

It is not:  Something complicated you have to figure out how to implement, or a prewritten program you tackle on your own, or a 30-day ab challenge on a random YouTube channel.

Here’s How It Works

Move Energy is a community of women who are here to learn and practice MOVING ENERGY.  We are here to live our ME practice daily, get fit, and use these techniques and skills to make our life feel better. We work together to learn and integrate deep lessons through a quarterly cycle, which includes: 

  • Core Values and Mindset
  • Empowerment and Personal Growth
  • Energy Optimization and Well-being
  • Emotional Resilience and Self-Care
  • Communication and Relationships
  • Intimacy and Self-Exploration

This is a FITNESS and EMOTIONAL HEALTH - focused program.

In the network we connect, ask questions, and learn new tools to give us power over our emotional, mental, and physical reactions which opens us to authentic health in our bodies, hearts, and minds. 

We address our physical body, our emotional body, and our light body.  Our morning practice shifts our energy for the day, and opens up our toolbox - stress with kids, busy at work, partner sets us off, tired body, sore back….pull out your skills and move the energy: from overwhelm into inspired action, upregulated and triggered into calm clarity, anxiety into excitement.

Join us for the weekly morning small group, the monthly cool-down evening practice, workshops, articles, links to my favorite recommended resources (myofascial tools, healing music, books, etc.), informational modules for each week, powerful journal prompts to examine and expand our mindset, a whole team of women on the path of self-revolution, and a coach who is here to support you in feeling safe making savage moves.  

AND a guided, weekly one-hour morning workout that leads us through our specific morning postures and 30-minute progressive workout, cool-down, and crush-the-day meditations and journal prompts, as we practice The Practice together and carry it through our week.  

You will feel fitter, stronger and more mobile, You will learn to  implement your own energizing morning routine and movement session 5 to 30 minutes long that will start your every day with energy and optimism. and feel a new confidence in sculpting your lifestyle and making changes with ease.

Move Energy is a membership-based community on the Mighty Networks platform. Membership participation is built on mutual investment, which makes the experience richer and deeper for everyone.

Membership is Open Enrollment, join anytime: The bi-weekly themes are always in rotation, available to learn, practice, and relearn; building deeper lessons with repetition.  

Community members connect, collaborate, and experience the materials, resources, and support in real time.  This is a space built for daily connection, it is easy to use and navigate.

Additionally, 1:1 coaching sessions are available to book for single or multiple sessions.

 

About Me - Sparking a Revolution in Women's Lives

I've spent my life questioning the rules, pushing the boundaries, and fighting my way through. As the founder of Move Energy, I've designed it to be a place where every woman can ignite a revolution in her own life. Drawing from my diverse professional background in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, kickboxing, MovNat, self-defense, Enlifted Language Coaching, therapeutic yoga, strength training, myofascial reformatting, and Reiki, I bring a wealth of expertise to empower women on their transformative journeys.

On a personal level, I've overcome significant challenges, including C-PTSD, assault, trauma, physical therapy, chronic pain, long-term medication use, navigating marriage, parenting, divorce, and embracing alternative lifestyles. Now in my 50s, I've emerged healthier and happier than ever before. My true passion lies in guiding other women to reclaim their authentic selves, providing them with the necessary tools and unwavering support to embark on their courageous journeys right now.

My approach is centered around creating a safe and supportive environment where my clients can redefine their day-to-day operations. I help them break through perceived obstacles and make transformative changes they once thought were impossible. 

My coaching style encompasses:

  • Support and safety: Providing a nurturing space for growth and exploration.

  • Minimalist, simple, playful: Embracing a lighthearted and accessible approach to self-improvement.

  • Freedom of expression: Encouraging clients to honor and express their true selves.

  • Natural flow: Guiding individuals to harmonize with their innate energy cycles and instincts.

  • Taking hold of life and making big moves with courage: Empowering clients to step outside their comfort zones and seize life's opportunities.



In my personal life, I reside in Washington State with my partner, Alex, and our vibrant household consists of three sets of brothers and sisters: two teenage kids, two dogs, and two cats. We cherish our time outdoors, hosting gatherings around the firepit, and embracing a rule-breaking mentality that allows us to fully embrace the joy of living authentically.

 

Being “stuck” and moving energy have a whole new meaning. After years of being stuck in an aggressive state, Jodi taught me how to give my past selves space and to honor them for keeping me safe and alive during that time in my life, and that I do not have to hold onto those past selves any longer. Jodi’s teachings are playing a huge role in showing me how to live outside of my head and into my heart. It has shown me to see things for what they are, not what I think them to be. It has given me space in my body to breathe. It’s also helped show me a whole new outlook on who I am and who I will continuously strive to be.  ~ Sarah

Last year, I dislocated my knee while biking and became acutely aware of just how reliant I am on my body for the stability of my mental health.  I reached out to Jodi to help get me back in alignment with my body and sense of self after the injury as physical therapy just wasn't cutting it with the mental aspects intertwined. I was able to target what needed help in a safe space as  well as actually falling in love with a foam roller I will actually use. With what we did I was able to incorporate things into my daily life that keep me functional that aren't simply "nice ideas" I never actually use outside of an appointment. Highly recommended for anyone working on being more in tune with their body in a way that feels natural and not clinical.   ~Kenzie
